Northland Assistance Center PDF E-mail
The mission of the Northland Assistance Center is to provide compassionate emergency assistance to persons of need in Clay and Platte counties.

Our philosophy, at the Northland Assistance Center, is to provide services to persons who find themselves in emergent financial distress. Our goal is to serve with dignity and compassion, that persons circumstances are improved as a result of our services.

We acknowledge that we may not have enough resources to assist everyone who requests assistance. However, we resolve to be fair and equitable in our allocation of resources in an effort to prevent homelessness and hunger. Beyond providing financial assistance, we commit to excellence in our service by:
  • Collaborating with individuals to identify strengths and resources in their environment.
  • Assisting individuals to identify patterns and concerns that may lead to distress.
  • Enhancing individuals abilities and opportunities to change and address their own needs.
  • Networking with other community partners so that quality services may be delivered in an appropriate and timely manner.
Whether you are interested in helping us to help others, or you are in need of assistance yourself, please call or email to find out more.
